The Book Taster Ethos

The Book Taster is passionate about spreading the message of ‘Self Care’ for all, ensuring that everyone makes time for themselves in this busy world that we live in.

How better to make some ‘me time’ than joining either our online book club which meets the last SUNDAY of every month or join one of our twelve Book and Pudding Clubs across the country.

As well as encourgaing selfcare- creating a community is a driving force behind every decision that is made.

The Book Taster ethos is to - bring people together through a mutal love of books.

How it Began

The Book Taster was founded by Jenna, who, whilst juggling motherhood, being a Primary School Teacher and a book worm, devouring books at a rate of knots! Jenna set up The Book Taster when she was unable to find a one-off bookish gift box for a friend who needed a little ‘pick me up’. When unable to find anything on the market, Jenna curated her own box which was warmly received. Repeating this a few times and not only enjoying the process but how the gift went down- the idea of ‘The Book Taster’ was born.

An advocate of self-care for all, during lockdown, Jenna started the ONLINE BOOK CLUB which is now into its 35th month. Moving away from isolated online actvities - Jenna set up the first Book and Pudding Club in Lighthorne. Now two years later, there are nineteen book clubs across the country!

Jenna runs the company from her home in the Midlands where she owns far too many books.
